In recent years, prosperity has boomed in Ward 1, but it has not been distributed equitably. Each year, Jubilee Housing ensures that 1,000+ people can access deeply affordable homes and services. Its housing footprint spans ten buildings in Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, and Mount Pleasant, with another four to be redeveloped and opened. Jubilee's unique model brings essential supportive services for low-income individuals to resource-dense Ward 1. Youth Services provides kids with a safe place to meet mentors, receive homework help, and build community with their peers. Resident Services helps adults save money, improve fitness and nutrition, and prepare to own a home. The Re-Entry Housing Initiative provides transitional supportive housing, case management, and employment support to justice-involved individuals returning to DC. Jubilee Housing works towards a city that is livable for people at every income level.
