At Legacy Farms, neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals work side by side as equals. Serving individuals 16+ with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, and anxiety, its mentorship and apprenticeship programs empower neurodivergent individuals to contribute to thriving neurodiverse workplaces. Staff and trained mentors guide apprentices as they practice garden, entrepreneurial, and communications skills, delivering bouquets and other products to market. As apprentices advance into an immersive year-round program, they learn additional product development and related business skills. All complete the 7-Step employment process (application/interview to invoicing to performance review), experiencing a real-world work environment. Many arrive having recently left school and struggling to find or keep employment, and leave ready to see themselves as capable, proud members of the workforce and community.
