General Information

  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: If you are interested in becoming a Together We Bake volunteer, please fill out our online volunteer form that can be found here (http://bit.ly/twbvolunteer). We will get in touch with you about upcoming volunteer activities. We host volunteer nights (one-off opportunities) on a quarterly basis; the activity generally involves stickering packages, which is a fun activity that can include kids ages 12 and up. Additional opportunities are outlined below.

    Volunteer as a Job Counselor

Are you interested in volunteering as a Job Counselor? Each session we match women from the community with our TWB team members. They work together to assess job skill strengths, develop a resume, prepare for interviews, and begin a job search. It’s a great opportunity to get to know a TWB team member and help her get the second chance she deserves.

    Volunteer as an Events Helper

Together We Bake runs a stand at the Del Ray Farmers’ Market and Crystal City Farmers’ Market and has other markets and pop ups across the DC metro area on a sporadic basis.

Volunteer as a Fundraising and Development Committee Member

The Committee meets monthly to plan and carry out activities related to the annual campaign, individual gifts, in-kind gifts, faith based support, special events and special projects as needed.

Volunteer as a Social Media Ambassador

Help promote TWB on social media by sharing our posts and creating your own.

Volunteer to help with Administrative Tasks

We can use occasional help with data entry and sending out mail.

For any of the above opportunities, please fill out our online volunteer form. We will get in touch with you about upcoming volunteer activities.

    Volunteer as a Group

Do you know a group of people who would like to help Together We Bake? We would love to discuss options, including packaging parties and labeling parties.
