Dedicated to helping low-income older adults in the National Capital Region, Seabury offers 200 stable, supportive homes, with another 236 units expected to be completed in 2028. It also provides on-site meals, care management, and even house and yard maintenance through the Age-in-Place® intergenerational volunteer program. As the only community transportation service in the region built specifically with seniors in mind, it transports groups of seniors to wellness centers, social outings, grocery store trips, and more. Connecting with thousands of older adults locally, Seabury is a vital link for them, mitigating social isolation, food insecurity, houselessness, and aging inequities–so that they may live with independence and dignity.
